Eleven-year-old Tamara is predictable in a few ways. First, she will always want the person with the camera to take two or three pictures of her in the same pose, just to ensure that she can choose which one she likes best. And since Saturday morning, she has been on a quest to earn Bat Mitzvah credit for attending the Shabbat morning service at the Reform synagogue in Tel Aviv. (Perhaps it was a mistake to give her credit for Friday night.) After seeing the high number of stray cats living on the streets of Israel, Tamara is now considering starting an organization to help them.
